It's a clean slate. What are you going to accomplish this year? We have many plans for the Lazy T. We continue to add amenities and spend time enhancing your experience. It was in the mid-teens last week so we discovered what pipes needed to be wrapped and we are going to insulate the pump house. It was the coldest it had been there in 7 years.
I found and have made a delicious cranberry almond granola that we are going to start serving. You get something very good and very healthful at the same time.
In closing, we have had the most wonderful guests during the holiday season. Everyone was a pleasure to serve and a pleasure to get to know. Since our commitment in August to be there to serve every single guest, life at the Lazy T is now the very best.
Looking forward to watching the sunset go down with you soon.

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas, dear friends of the Lazy T. We wish you the most beautiful Christmas ever. We can't wait to have all our family together at our home on the 25th. Then it's off to the Lazy T on the 26th. Excitement as always. Scott has a full house for the next two days. We have guests from the 29 through Jan. 1. There are some staggered suites available some of the nights. We have started up the deer feeder after finding many, many tracks on the property. Our early morning walkers usually see 6-12 on our property and our neighbors. Haven't seen the turkeys lately.
So, we wish you the most joyous season and a very prosperous 2010. God bless you all.
Hugs and sunsets,
Scott and kk

The beginning of the Season
Things are wonderful at the Lazy T. Scott took great pictures of the Lazy T in the snow on Friday. He couldn't even see the mesa. Today he walked the front 9 of the Lazy T pushing his clubs. Love the hill country weather. House full of great guests this weekend. Scott decorated a suite as a surprise for a huge Alabama football fan. They had a great time. Guests even enjoyed the spa in the cold, cold weather. We got down to 22 degrees two nights in a row. Getting ready for a wonderful Christmas at the Lazy T. We only have two rooms left for the New Years. Come on down.

Looking forward to Thanksgiving
Looking forward to next week when we have guests and then family Thanksgiving. I will come down on Tuesday with the youngest grandson to meet Dad'n. The rest of the family will join the following weekend. We have guest that weekend, too. They are ready to become part of the family while enjoying all the private time they want. One of the couples this weekend spent two hours in the spa just talking and catching up with each other. That's what it is all about. Everyone left full, slept well, enjoyed the peace and quiet, and can't wait to come back the next time. Scott said, "Our guest just come and stay. They go to town but they are right back to relax." Can't wait to hear what it does for you.
Enjoy the weather changing.

A Perfect Beginning to November
The weather could not be any better. The sky is clear blue, there is a gentle breeze, and the temperature tops out at 75 each day. God has brought heaven to earth. The B&B business is about making your guest happy. Well we have certainly succeeded this week. The couple from Santa Barbara last weekend who stayed in the cabin were just so complementary of everything--and I can tell you they are used to having the best. The couple who came in Sunday to stay in Suite #2, the folk art suite, are having such a good time they are staying an extra night. They are already planning their next trip back and they are from Cincinatti, Ohio! In fact Monte said he has never slept so late in the mornings. He usually is awake at 5:30 and has been sleeping until 7:30. It is such a pleasure to serve such delightful people and see them relax and enjoy the peaceful, quiet place in the Texas Hill Country called the Lazy T. I am humbled.
