Ready for Color

We are ready for the wildflowers.  Just quickly wanted to let you know that we are open for Easter weekend.  For some people that is a great time to get away.  Come on down and let me pamper you.

Spring it rising over the hill!!!

I see it coming.  Springtime in the Hill Country, better yet--springtime at the Lazy T.  This week all the landscape was showing wonderful signs of life.  Little green leaves here and there and buds wanting to break on the trees.  I'm behind on getting the garden going but the guests were more important.  Looking forward to working in the sunshine.  This week just got some rocking on the porch in the sunshine.  Great new club opening up on Main Street.  I was invited to the private opening of the bar Wednesday night.  It's going to be an awesome place.  I will keep you posted.  (Jay Boy Adams was playing, shhhhh)

Wild wild wildflowers

Going to be the best flowers in a decade according to the experts.  We have very few bookings left for March.  People are really enjoying life at the Lazy T.  Scott is doing a great job hosting and cooking.  I've been up north for the last 10 days but he is enjoying his time in the Hill Country.  Join us on Facebook and become a fan of The Lazy T B and B.  That way you get updates sent directly to you.  Send me some ideas on what you would like to see added to the Lazy T.  I hope to get a garden going soon.  Fresh herbs, tomatoes and peppers with your Tex-Mex breakfast.  Sounds yummy to me.  See you later to watch the sunset.

New Lazy T B&B guests

"As a first time B&B'er, we found our 1st experience to be the BEST. Any other B&B is going to be hard pressed to best the most enjoyable weekend we ever had. On a 5 star scale, the Lazy T is easily a 10 as far as comfort, cleanliness, attention & service. Our proprietor, Scott, is a renaissance man. Where else does your host serenade you after a long day of wine tasting and shopping? Is there another B&B manager that engages you in easy going conversation while preparing a true Texas breakfast to get you going? It was these personal touches that will bring us back again & again. Thanks, Scott.

A great New Year

It's a clean slate. What are you going to accomplish this year? We have many plans for the Lazy T. We continue to add amenities and spend time enhancing your experience. It was in the mid-teens last week so we discovered what pipes needed to be wrapped and we are going to insulate the pump house. It was the coldest it had been there in 7 years.

I found and have made a delicious cranberry almond granola that we are going to start serving. You get something very good and very healthful at the same time.

In closing, we have had the most wonderful guests during the holiday season. Everyone was a pleasure to serve and a pleasure to get to know. Since our commitment in August to be there to serve every single guest, life at the Lazy T is now the very best.

Looking forward to watching the sunset go down with you soon.
